Ample Sound • SEQ convert to Riff doesn't go measure 1 beat 1

In strum, (v3.7.0) I'm using the "convert current pattern to riff" -
(This lets me chain multiple SEQ patterns in order inside the Riffer)

The problem I'm finding is - the SEQ pattern appears in Riffer - but on measure 2. Not measure 1.
Why?

Subsequent instances of "convert current pattern to riff" (to create a chain/group), are placed in the measure immediately following the last one (great!) - only if I leave the first one offset 1 measure. (starting on measure 2)

If I try to move the first transferred SEQ to measure 1 (after it mistakenly goes to measure 2) and then convert to riff the next SEQ I want - it adds the empty measure again.

The work around I found is to wait to move it until I have chained together all the SEQ patterns I want in Riffer - then move the whole thing forward to measure 1.
