This may tough a bit change, when Plugdata incorporate more Libraries - and it is maybe plan - but at this moment Imo opinion Plugdata is compared to M4L far inferior, tough on basic simple stuff it can do the job, but GUI will be pain and any Graphic stuff are not like in Gen etc directly convertible to signal for modulation etc and is far less efficient..
It lacks Codebox, Gen(~), objects for Java and Python, Preset system, it cannot even properly store stuff - Coll object is pain to work with and it is not explain properly (while in M4L it is just piece of cake), it does not have cellblock to load list or check values, and when u pointed out, the guy who stole it cyclone - Porres will get mental on you..
And this is the biggest problem - Plugdata is not cool, is dominated by the guy who stole Cyclone and most of the object in ELSE lib and he behaves Imo pretty bad - as u can see in my previous post: like an old angry-bird.![:phones:]( "tsk tsk tsk")
It is sad, cause Timothy and Mitchell are extremely cool and project would be fun, but they rely on his libs and never tame him down, never stand for Plugdata users.
Nother big issue is that in M4L u have over 100 h of excellent tuts, that show u how to patch, in Plugdata noone is sharing anything and even worse, as u could see in my previous post they consider "M4L f**king documentation and tuts sucks a big fat and smelly donkey ass."
This is standard Porres way of talking and he talks same way to users...
It is Imo disgrace of patching.
