Bitwig • MIDI Program Change workaround

I have an sampler instrument which does not work with MIDI Program Change messages so I tried to use use multiple instances of it with different presets in a layer container to get around it but I can't seem to make it work. I tried Instrument and FX Selectors and Instrument and FX Layers. The problem is that the instrument in question plays samples and the audio is continuous so switching layers doesn't turn of the audio from the previous layer.

I need multiple instances with different presets so I can switch between them. Is there another way to achieve this?
