Protrekkr 2.7.0 is a recent release actually recompiled a week ago as I found a bug & Dev fixed in less than 24 hrs...
Based off the open source of NoiseTrekker 2 (NoiseTrekker 3 to be morphed into Renoise) it retains the original state of NT2 rather than the Renoise Peeps who ripped it all up... The dual 303s are still in there, the CSynth is still in there, the 'smart patterns' are still in there but it has been massively improved...
You can have up to 16 note lanes per track & up to 4 FX lanes per track, 303 patterns can be saved & loaded, automation can be accomplished traditional or you can live record sliders, there's a sample host sync so you can bring in loops & sync like REX files... There's a good number of Filter Types that have been added-
There are included themes or make your own-

With the included filters & using the 303s you can get plenty of squelching power...
Will also be covering the original NoiseTrekker2 as it has some of the very same features... When it came out in 2000 it had way better FX than OctaMED or Madtracker...
Anyways this is a windows 32bit version but there are MAC/Linux & Amiga versions as well-

Pretty much all for here I have a much more indepth thread over at warmplace where I share instruments, reverbs, 303 patterns & such...
