Guitars • Jamstik Standard Not Performing Slides

I recently bought a new Jamstik Standard and so far have been unable to get slides when controlling other vsts with it. Bends are ok.

I have Jamstik Creator set to MPE, but that isn't working with slides either.

I tried in Bitwig Studio with Pigments set to MPE but no success there either.

Newbie question: Do I need to connect Jamstik to Jamstik Creator before connecting to a vst that supports MPE?
