Our brains will turn to mush, and therefore many other concepts will fall into disuse.
The people of the interior of any country (i.e., at some remove from coastal, thriving-economy, 21st-century society) will either be skeptical of or cannot even afford such obviously detrimental nonsense, and it is from their unafflicted populations that humanity will recover.

Young East-Asian guys in countries that had heretofore prized a certain noble sun-avoidant pallor will proudly sport a tan and won't take any guff about it from anyone.
For some of those, it will also be fashionable (maybe continuing into the Fall season) to get a treatment that adds a tasteful sprinkle of chest hair in their "hevage".
In a parallel and perhaps complementary development, it will be fashionable for some young East Asian women and guys to become translucent.
