Bitwig • Replacing / Swapping samples

I have a sample that I edited with stretching. I copy that to another track and want to replace it with another sample while keeping the edits I made. The project panel shows only one sample even though I have copied it. If i replace the sample, both will be replaced. I can bounce or bounce in place but the edits will be gone.

I want to keep my edits and only replace the sample.
