Hi. I'm new to Bitwig and have a lot of external gear I want to connect up. The HW Instrument is very useful, but for some gear I need to route the midi out via an Expert Sleepers ES4 VST instrument to send MIDI over SPDIF (for zero jitter.)
I can do this by setting the HW instrument output to send MIDI to the ES4 plug-in. The problem is that this kills the audio return channel output for the HW instrument plugin. It appears to be unable to output both MIDI to the ES4 plugin and the audio from the hardware return channel.
Is there a way to route MIDI internally from the HW Instrument without losing the audio return channel output?
Ideally for my JV-2080 I'd like to set up the following internal MIDI chain.
2080 Editor VST instrument -> HW Instrument -> ES4 VST
