Okay so, I've played for a while with modulating delay times in Reason's The Echo. It can produce cool effects, but what sucks is that the low range goes like 1, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 ms, ... which might make sense but it doesn't, because compared to the Sync mode, this does not have any concept of sync even if the times progress by adding 8. The sound that's delayed might be of some other length.
-> One needs a delay that can allow setting the first time to match the tempo of the sample.
-> One needs the delay to then continue syncing the further delay times based on this first one and a guess about the interval length.
Does such exist?
I guess some audio edit guys just do delays manually by repeating the audio and fading it.
