I made a tutorial showing how to make a DC barrel plug to USB-C Power Delivery decoy adapter. This process is applicable to any device that accepts DC power by barrel jack, including the LinnStrument.

In my case, I made this to provide external power to my Synthstrom Deluge so that I can use USB-MIDI with my LinnStrument. Deluge makes a fantastic hardware companion to the LinnStrument. But, to use the USB-B port on the Deluge in Host mode, you must first supply the Deluge with power via its DC barrel socket. My USB-C PD decoy adapter steps up to 9V and supplies the Deluge with power which in turn powers the LinnStrument with 5V USB bus power.
